Volunteering

In our office you find ample quantities of tasks which are almost completely attended by volunteers. The amount of work contributed depends on the time the staff members are able to spare.

Tasks include:

• Assistance on general office work
• Event preparation
• Maintenance of the library and the journal archive
• Journalistic activities (editorial office, editing, layout etc.)
• Cooperation with regards to content in the different fields of work

We offer:

Internship

An unpaid internship can be made at the Nuremberg Human Rights Center. The minimum term of the internship is six weeks.

Your tasks include:

• Compose a written contribution to the homepage concerning a human rights relevant issue
• General organizational tasks
• Assistance on the general office organization
• Investigation concerning current human rights issues
• Maintenance of the journal archive

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of computer applications (office, internet)
• Ability to work independently
• Interest in human rights issues
• Very good German and English skills (Spanish is advantageous)
