The book "Tak Bai: Taste of Memories" is part of a wider project to establish the Deepsouth Museum and Archive´s Initiative. It started with the gathering of stories and the creation of a database. The stories were compiled during Thailand´s third wave of COVID-19. As such, the process was mainly conducted by listeners based in the region. The stories recounted during the interviews consisted of recollections of the events, recollections of loss, of loved ones, and the significance of certain items as objects of remembrance.
